> VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY:  Reporting to the Executive Director, the Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for organizing
and directing efforts to involve volunteers in our programs and services. Duties include: recruitment, screening, and
orientation of volunteers; report generation; and other duties as agreed upon. This position works closely with other
departments within the organization to ensure that volunteer needs are met.


> SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY:  Reporting to the Executive Director, the Social Media Coordinator will: be responsible for
managing our presence on various social media sites; disseminate HIV/AIDS news and information; manage online
discussions by listening to what the users are saying, reading discussion forums, and responding in a timely manner
to the user's needs; work across departments to ensure proper messaging is being executed online that will help
reach the organization objectives; support and protect The Friends of AIDS Foundation by making sure that positive
messaging is maintained in the community and establish consistency of messages; prepare reports to update
internal staff on discussion topics and usage statistics; and other duties as agreed upon.


> SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY:  Reporting to the Executive Director, the Special Events Coordinator will be responsible for the
development, coordination and execution of special events; mailings and public relations, which serve the mission of  
The Friends of AIDS Foundation.


> COMMUNITIES ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY:  Reporting to the Executive Director, the Communities Engagement  Coordinator  will assist with
the implementation of the international communities engagement strategy, and will  be responsible for the
administration of such strategy. The Coordinator will work closely with diverse groups of people in community
organizations throughout the world to promote a better understanding of HIV and the needs of HIV positive and at risk
populations, in order for us to deliver programs and services that create healthier communities. Duties include:
building and maintaining strong working relationships, the recruitment, management, and mobilization of volunteers,
report writing, and others duties as requested.
* In addition to the above mentioned attributes desired, candidates must have a good working knowledge of the
issues that fuel the HIV pandemic.


> RESEARCH SPECIALIST

POSITION SUMMARY:  Reporting to the Executive Director, the Research Specialist will be responsible for the
collection and compilation of data needed for the creation, implementation, and expansion of programs and services.
Duties include: performing Internet based research; extraction of relevant information pertinent to task at hand; report
generation; and other duties as needed. This position works closely with other departments within the organization to
ensure the efficiency of operations.
